The magical journey of three friends

Three students, Ashlee, Bailey and Chaz, are doing research in the school library.  Complaining about having to do their research using library books instead of their computers, the kids OFFEND a mysterious-looking book entitled, “Mysteries of Ancient Civilizations.” Suddenly, they are sucked into the book and are transported back to ancient China. Once there, the kids are told they must locate three elements - bamboo from the Bamboo Forest, a stone from the Great Wall of China, and firecracker from the Chinese New Year festival - to help cure The Wise One, who is the book’s master.  The students are led on this adventure by the character Davinci, who is the voice of the book.  Lessons about courage and risk-taking are learned as the story progresses.
